sites in Europe, with its abbey church, monks’ dormitory,
chapter house, refectory, cloister, and scriptorium.

• Lunch

• Meillant Castle, nestled in a park of centuries-old
trees, with its medieval towers offset by a sumptuous
Renaissance decor.

• Ainay-le-Vieil Castle, encased in a moat and resembling
a “little Carcassonne” with a delightful Flamboyant
Gothic façade within.

OR

• Culan Castle, unique in France, with its 80-metre
façade, is governed by imposing circular towers,
crowned with well-preserved wood hourds.
